Like, the whole thing felt like it was building to something much longer after finally saving Kayo. Multiple arcs where Satoru has to consistently outwit the killer and save each person. Then suddenly boom, Satoru gets caught whilst trying to save the second person and the killer's identity is revealed literally immediately. It just felt oftputting to me.
