lol that's kinda like my grandpa on my mom's side. He has a weird story for why my oldest uncle who was his step-son calls him "Dud" and literally everyone ended up calling him that, outside of our family and all. Literally just Dud lmao

The story was something like my uncle didn't want to call him dad bc his real dad had died when he was young, but my grandpa was like a dad to him so he didn't wanna just use his first name. And he came up with "Dud"
