I guess it could work for a small minority, but like you say actually keeping those viewers is another story. There is no matches that would bring in old fans. You used to have guys like Taker and Triple H etc. Maybe even Brock.

Oh, I agree, I'm just saying Taker probably brought those old fans back in. Especially when the streak was going strong. I remember how many people were talking about Brock/Taker.

I'm personally glad this Mania is focusing more on newer stars. Loving matches like Asuka and Rhea for example.

I feel like WrestleMania 30 and 31 were the last ones I remember people talking about like it was an actual event and not just something wrestling fans watched lol

30 and 31 were legitimately great events, too. I'd argue they were some of the best ones.

Only bad part of 31 for me was Sting/HHH, I don't know why they decided on that and not the Taker/Sting dream match.
