I think 98 was worse because no Bret, no Shawn, no Sid. You only have Austin.

After Mania they realize who they need to feature for 90% of the show though and it gets a lot better. It's half McMahon/Austin, half DX-Rock lmao

Yeah, I'll take Austin/McMahon over Bret/Shawn, barely, but in 1998 you also had DX busting out, Rock coming into his own, and a better undercard than 1997. Even if not by much still.
