The way I choose to look at it - $10 dollars for an hours worth of entertainment. A game's main story should be at least six hours if it's being marketed at full price. Even then, I think that there should be some side stuff to pad out the length.

But a ridiculously long RPG with over 40-50 hours of content? I can't do that anymore.
