well it may be hard to get for some, but not everyone plays music for fame at all. some ppl do it really as a form of expression, and things sometimes spiral from there. swept up by the monster

That is why I like Tom MacDonald. Completely independent. Makes his own beats, writes his on lyrics, his GF films and produces his videos, he makes his own sets, he self promotes, and he has been #1 on the billboard several times.
