Nas is a rapper from New York who came out in the 90s. He released his debut album Illmatic when he was 17, maybe 18 I believe, and it's considered one of the greatest albums in rap history. He had a number of hits. Never was as big as the likes of Eminem, Jay-Z, etc. at their peaks but he's definitely very well known to this day.
