This sounds like quite the dilemma. More football is always a good thing, let's hope it comes to fruition. Fox will probably rather show College football games on Saturday than Baseball since it gets better ratings. That'd probably conflict with contracts though

i think the league wants all the teams to play - because otherwise rankings going into next season will be massively deflated

Like these world class athletes wouldn't be ready by the fall. Not sure how that hurts the rankings

there is a lot of politics in play

some people are suggesting that no one who plays this spring should even be considered for next season's bowl games on the basis they have been inactive for too long

It'll make it easier for me to predict since I won't be predictin' much for teams that haven't played in 8 months to win against a team that had a great season and is ready to go

unless playing in the spring season - makes some of these teams more ready for the traditional autumn start

I don't think the teams playin' this Spring will also play in the Fall. Football has too many injuries to allow that, every year players wanna play less games these days
