I mean not all of them were gonna be superstars, but give him more than a year. Look at today's roster, all of them have been there for like at least 3 years on either the main or NXT or both. But in that 2008 era, most got a year tops. If not only months.

Yeah guys like Ziggler, Sheamus, and Kofi wouldn't have these long careers I don't think back then

Well IDK bc you would have the random Val Venis and Hardcore Holly still started in the Attitude Era but lasted way longer than I expected in Ruthless Aggression

Those guys lasted like a decade. Val was gettign a paycheck in like 2009 I think.

I'd rather them horde then cut guys way too early. Although, I think those 2008 guys would have bounced back better today with AEW, MLW, NWA etc. Back then it was mostly TNA if they wanted to try you and honestly, they did a few, but they didn't last in TNA long either. They mostly wanted WWE's pushed talent.

It causes it's own negatives but I'm not convinced they're enough to matter. Guys getting complacent and stuff mostly but there's still those that are gonna try regardless even with more stability lol
