Eh. This was peak Bully and Sting was hardly wrestling single matches at this point from what I recall.

Yeah, most likely. Hopefully he's teaming with Darby and Cody against Team Taz. That could be not so bad.

I'd rather he just became the authority figure for AEW

The thing is, even in a 6-man tag with world class athletes, he doesn't deserve to win at his age. It would be a pity win and the match will suffer more from it

I don't really agree with that. Especially teaming with two of AEW's top stars against a stable that is 2/3 youngsters, there's nothing wrong with his team winning in that scenario.

So I see it as not really hurting anything and giving him and his fans a better conclusion to his career, and I can't be upset with that.

Plus Sting is much fitter than a bunch ofof guys, in their 50s

If he doesn't wrestle, I won't be disappointed. I'm just not AGAINST him wrestling either. As long as he isn't booked to beat Darby 1-on-1 or some heinous shit like that. I can understand wanting to finish up on a better note than being injured and barely managing to finish your final match.
