I think it was Mid-South, but he was doing a run-in and got tackled by a fan; he elbowed the guy off him and walked off like it was nothing. The cops haul this guy backstage and Barry Darsow goes up to him and is like, "I'd hit you, but I can't hit you nearly as hard as he's gonna hit you when he comes back". Hernandez comes back and underhand slaps the guy under the jaw with such force the bounced off the slap into the wall, and onto the floor and he was knocked out for over half an hour. When Jim Cornette asked Herc why he didn't just punch him, Herc was like, "Ah Jimmy, if you hit someone with your fist, you could hurt 'em."

Also reminds me of the hilarious Herc story where Cornette came across his car with the car door perpendicular to the vehicle and nearly broken off; "Aw Jimmy, it's terrible. I got out to take a piss, and a truck came by and smashed the car door. Thank goodness I was holding onto it or it would have been taken completely off".
