I mean if that call was right then the Saints most likely would have won the game but afterwards the Saints still had the ball first in OT, so they still def lost it. Still one of the worst calls I've ever seen in a playoff game though

Well gotta keep in mind, Saints have gotten away with a lot in games, so for their fans to complain is a bit laughable to me. Anytime they get away with it. "it's part of the game."

But you can't say for 100% certainty the Saints would have won if it was called right bc it still could have been a fumble, INT, or missed field goal

I don't give a fuck about karma when I'm watching a game with neutral teams that's been a great game and a refs call is what dominates everyone's opinions afterwards and the winners feel illegitimate even though I liked the team

Thing is, that call isn't made, Saints don't take it to overtime.

Maybe me not liking them, makes me see it a different way. It's just hard to feel bad for them. Plus they are photos from that game of calls the refs missed in favor of the Rams, so the Saints got away with some stuff in that game. It was a mess all around. So really, one call didn't change the outcome in my mind because if the other calls were called, the score could've been different at that point.

I really just wanted a battle of the old guys with Brees vs Brady in the super bowl or a rematch of that epic Monday night Chiefs/Rams game so I was really disappointed when neither of those scenarios happened
