Only exception is Orton/Christian but that's probs just bc I was too hyped for CLB to win the title again

Yeah that was a great match. Punk/Jericho at Mania wasn't too bad either.

But they both probably would have been better without the stipulation.

I really liked that Punk/Jericho match but the crowd was dead af and kinda took away from it

And yeah, Christian/Orton had better matches during that series besides MITB for sure

Punk/Jericho also had the Chicago Street Fight the next month which I think was better

People forget how much apathy was going on with Punk as champ

I remember thinking it was better at the time, but I haven't rewatched it as much as the 'Mania match to get a modern opinion

Punk never had apathy for me

But, I am watching his matches back to do a review thread like I did for Rollins. He was definitely hotter during that first reign before they got ADR/Nash/Trips in the mix.

And then he was hotter once again after losing the belt, all the way until he left. He was getting huge pops.
