Well... sex and gender are two different things. And there are only two sexes, determined by biology. Gender is a social construct and therefore whether a spectrum exists or not isn't really dictated by science.

I know plenty of people who shit on people for this very reason, calling then all types of names. Sadly a lot of them come from the same side of the aisle.

But you're also wrong because gender is a social construct that pertains to femininity vs. masculinity, it has nothing at all to do with species and all that other bullshit people like to say when they're arguing against it.

When really there is nothing to argue anyways because it's pretty much just a fact. You could have your opinion on whether it's "right" or "wrong" to identify as a gender outside of the normal male and female, but you can't claim that there are only two genders.
