I personally think it's risky to buy jerseys of active players. They could up and be off the team and then you get stuck with a jersey of someone on another team.

I would never want to buy a jersey of active players, even a custom jersey with your name on it. Too expensive.

I had this discussion with @Chris recently actually lol. Like for the Braves, I'd probably buy a Chipper Jones jersey, or Hank Aaron. Falcons, Matt Ryan. None of them longer playing, so I wouldn't be wearing the name of someone who's playing else where currently.
