Travis Scott is really crazy to me bc some Houston college friends got me into him a couple years before he really got big. But then he kinda tarnished that game so bittersweet lol
Yeah same for me, as someone who's followed him since 2014, watching him grow from there to the level of start he is now is just insane but then add to that that he features in the main event of WrestleMania? Helping heel John Cena? Of all the people and scenarios? Crazy how much worlds I consider separate have continually meshed together in recent years.
Travis isn't the best example technically mainly because he is super famous and willing to do shit like Shaq or Snoop Dogg so the chances he spills over into other stuff I like is pretty high... but there are much more niche examples too
I know this isn't a place where wrestling echo chamber propaganda are in any way celebrated or discussed, but I have VERY normie friends. Like that would genuinely scoff at the idea of watching wrestling cuz it's fake and lame. I watched I believe All out 2021 (yea kinda the perf PPV) with them and they ended up genuinely tracking when PPVs were and asking ME to have them over the garage
