Well in many ways, I did go into the movie with lofty expectations due to the hype. Of course that's a terrible way to go into a movie, but I did do that for Anora and was blown away by that film.

aint nothing wrong with high standards as long as you don’t talk down to the people that enjoy what you don’t, not saying you did that btw I’m just talking

I loved it up until they had Hailee Steinfeld's character go out and check if the other white folks were cool to come in. They mentioned 10 minutes before that if she was seen at that party by townspeople / white people that she'd be risking her safety

its like my buddy and I always go to new marvel movies together and lately he is always disappointed (except Thunderbolts) where if I’m entertained Im happy.

No doubt Booty, I do have two ways of watching movies. Either to have fun or to be challenged, when somethings critically acclaimed and getting high praise, normally I go in with a more critical eye expecting to see something groundbreaking or transformational. Now see I went into Superman ready to have fun, and holy hell was that quite the super hero film
