Committing suicide is selfish as it is but to make someone else do it and effect their lives is another level

An acquaintance of mine is a conductor for Amtrak and last night some dude committed suicide by jumping in front of his train. I can’t imagine the guilt

guy who killed himself coulda been a serial killing rapist for all he knows

I don't think commiting suicide is selfish. I personally don't think we should force people who are suffering on a daily basis to live in this world

I'd argue it's just as selfish to force people to live because we love them . It takes strength to accept someone is suffering and let them go. Again no judgement on my behalf to anyone who feels different. Just my philosophical take on the subject

As someone who has thought about it but never did obviously because of the effects it would have on my loved ones I feel it is personally for me but I do see if they are in constant pain and misery cuz I know people that did because of that and I got it. But my point more so is about putting your death on someone’s else’s conscience is fucked

I know quite a few railroad workers and yeah, sadly that shit happens a lot. Just last week a guy got hit and killed on a bicycle

Yeah, I couldn't even imagine being them, cause yeah sadly like you said its nothing you can do. Shit definitely has to haunt you. I feel for them.

Also definitely feel for the person who committed suicide. To feel like that's the only answer man, you gotta be deep down in the gutter for that.

trains arent that fast and not silent so whenever something like this happens its almost always suicide
