I mean it's 2025. Every professional wrestling story has been done already. Hell AEW is copying Sad Corbin with the Young Bucks right now (and Sad Corbin probably was a copy of something else). And I laugh that everyone automatically assumes that this is a work. Kross on his own dime put out a documentary where he confirmed his contract expired. It wasn't a WWE thing. It was a Kross thing. So he's doing his own storyline on his own dime potentially as a free agent.
Potentially as a free agent. But again I circle back to I don't care if he's released or not :lol I am just pontificating mostly. I'm not tuning in anywhere to see if he'll show up. If he's truly released though, hope it works out for him. He can definitely be MLW champ by the end of the year if he want to be.

As far as copying angles, gimmicks or even bits, I think that's a different conversation. I think this conversation is more about running your own bits into your ground and booking your own company repetitively.

Tbh I don't even think I'd say there is much in common with what Corbin did and with what the Bucks are doing. Corbin looked like a sad sack of shit, where the Bucks aren't looking sad, they are just getting extremely disrespected by everyone. The only similarities are going from being in power to not being in power. Other than that, they are pretty vastly different.

Yeah, I can see the parallels but quite obviously different. Though, it wouldn't really matter that much if it was more similar.

I disagree. Hangman has done multiple stories that were pushing against masculinity norms etc. there's lots of new things to do when it comes to character development in the modern era

And stuff like the bloodline I felt was quite original at certain points.

And I also think if you're gonna do a release angle, get some actual heat like mjf or smth. Idk

That was some good character dev and story. And I hate to say it but the vast good of it was under the one who should not be named. Not tko and Hunter
