I do think it's fine to work contract expiry angles fwiw. Less so when people are already kinda aggro at your booking decisions, and you *maybe* are working an angle where a popular and disgruntled worker is looking to leave. WWE has done it before and the short term benefits, I'd say, were not worth it.
