Yea it feels super corny right after the whole R-Truth stuff to, which they almost immediately undercut despite having such momentum with it

I suspect there's gonna be a lot of going back to the same wells over and over again going forward and arguably there already has been to the point that things that made the Triple H feel exciting and special have already lost their flavor

Which is not a WWE specific problem, it happens to everyone eventually. Eventually people get tired of the nWo punking everyone out. Eventually they get tired of outsider midcarder coming in and becoming a god in TNA. Oftentimes the bloodshed and international dream matches in AEW feel like they could be more meaningful if it wasn't shit you got conditioned to expect.

In WWE there's hard ceilings for certain guys that they (both wwe and the wrestler) aren't willing to accept. I feel like Kross thinks he should have a Mcintyre-level spot, when it's just like.....

@Comrade Khan I wanted to check if you think you'll listen to that RA the Rugged Man album that Booty chose anytime soon or if I should go ahead and nominate another album

And it's super interesting because despite WWE not being oriented towards the in-ring action of it all, if you do not have a memorable match or don't knock a main event opportunity (say a raw, SNME, or smackdown) out of the park, your not given the keys. You can't just promo your way to the top.

I would say increasingly so, the only way you're going to get a main event opportunity in WWE is doing something that gets a lot of social media engagement. Or already be very famous. That's it.

There's definitely a blend, you have the Logan Paul's of the world, and then you have the Gunther / Priests. Gunther and Priest both had opportunities prior to getting elevated to the main event level and they knocked it out of the park

Kross is fine in the ring. He got over organically. But it's also he got over because he wasn't being used enough in the fans eye. If he was higher on the card he may not be that over.

Doing a storyline based on someone's contract expiring is dumb and I don't understand why HHH is going full Russo.
tbh I wouldn’t be shocked if they didn’t renew him
