I was 13 when I first signed up on OWW. I started with OWW radio less than a year later and now I'm 30. A big chunk of my life happened directly in relation to the forums\

Went on to use my connections due to OWW radio to get an actual radio job, which led me to promoting a local show out here and getting into the business in 2020. Crazy stuff

I went to college for radio in 94-96 got a degree but it never panned out

Radio degrees are useless. Honestly, terrestrial radio is useless these days. No one listens anymore and there's no money in it. I got out after three years

My boss had me doing a M-F 3 hour daily morning show, and I was the only salesman at our station. I only made 20% of the ad revenue I sold. AND my boss argued with me that "Rock You Like A Hurricane" wasn't classic rock, so I said peace out.
