yeah my desktop would do that too. the PC would be off and if you bumped into my desk and the mouse barely moved it would light up and stay that way forever.

it's because the PC keeps the USB slots powered so you can charge things like controllers or phones even when the PC is off so it's a good feature just sucks for a light up mouse

if i remember right, you can go into settings and turn off power to usb when pc is shut off but i never did it.
