The first PlayStation 2 game to feature online multiplayer was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, released in October 2001.

Considering it's also one of the earliest games I can remember playing, that's not very surprising but still

I remember whenever I was like 8 the American wasteland "no loading screens" commercial really got to me so that's why I got my mom to get it for me, it was the first one I had I think, but I'm pretty sure I also got underground at the same time

I had forgot about that marketing

And it wasn't even true lol they just meant no lading between levels in story mode bc they had these transition areas you skated through while they loaded the next one

I still spent a lot of time on 2 but 3 was the only one I ever felt I was good at lol

I tried playing 2 a couple years ago and was so bad it was terrible
