I don't really have the energy for this convo rn but an issue no one is even acknowledging rn is that we have an abundance of open manufacturing jobs already with no workers willing to do it, bringing more jobs in doesn't help that

Oh yeah there was a whole poll somewhere that conservatives did that was basically like, "A majority of conservatives want Americans to work in factories, but a majority of those who were polled do not want to work in factories."

I think subsidizing companies to raise wages and hire people while also punishing them for using foreign factories will help a little tho
