Yeah that sounds about right, they weren't huge wrestling fans though, it was just what was on TV at the time

Yeah what’s crazy is in Northern Maine we got TBS so I grew up watching WCW and ESPN had World Class so I saw a lot of that. WWF had an hour show on the weekends but it was never on at the same time so I only caught it sporadically but I did make sure I saw every SNME. Video tape rental of PPVs too.

I remember though an old newspaper I used to have from 2016 that was our local paper, and in the historical section, it had an ad for AWA showing up at our local gym with Andre the Giant as a special guest appearance.
