ya idk, he has tenure there and a pseudo feeder fed for nxt as well. likely mentors some of the kids too. i think its one of those things where they dont mind taking a bit of heat over it because the live crowds and wwe fans in genera ldont really complain loudly about it that much

It think if Pat was the guy narrating the show and supposed to be moving it along I’d be rather annoyed but he’s just the sidekick. The worst me personally was Mauro and Beth just both yelling all the time on the same booth. But Booker is the dirt worst makes me enjoy NXT so much less now it’s a shame

I liked Mauro a lot. Great announcer voice and I think when he did raise his voice, it added to the drama
