The rest of my post expanded beyond just my experience. Taxes went down across the board, but the rest will go back up because they couldn’t secure an agreement with Democrats to keep them down past five years.

It was passed in the budget that almost caused a shutdown or did. I agree it’s dumb the rich didn’t get the same exemptions but yeah Dems wouldn’t pass the budget without taxes increasing in five years. Because the debt would have increased. The problem like I said before though is on both parties for that part because neither side wants to cut spending.
