It's 1968 all over again for the Democratic Party, They couldn't decide between Robert Kennedy (who was assassinated before the DNC), Hubert Humphrey (Minnesota REPRESENT), and Lyndon Johnson who was President. As such, it allowed Nixon to garner support relatively uncontested and win the election, also thanks to George Wallace capturing the Southern vote.

I mean, I'd probably still say Biden shouldn't have went for re-election given the potential concerns with his age/health (Being President is a pain in the ass, look at Obama, dude aged 20 years in 8 years) since if you spend your time trying to run the country rather than, idk, going golfing every day, you'd feel the stress.
