Giving him the benefit of the doubt, Chris has lost most his feuds. He puts himself in stables, likely in his mind, to give time on TV to others along with him to at least give them a chance to get over. And as much as I hate to admit it, Sammy benefitted from it until he put his foot in his mouth a few too many times. PNP did do well until an injury and behind the scenes split. Then 2.0, both gotten more over and now they're two loved babyfaces even if there's a ceiling on them, DG got OVER with his dance and I think he's going to get better with time.

I think it is just he's been on TV so long where, even if he's been able to evolve both subtly and drastically over the years, you get worn down a bit and there's a law of diminishing returns.

Even if they weren't fighting over the tag belts often because they were in Jericho's feuds, they were in showcase matches and I think if Santana didn't have that nasty injury in Blood and Guts, they likely would have been in a tag title feud or two afterwards.

Then their behind the scenes break-up sadly broke up a talented team where, while they both are good on their own, were best as a team.

I'm expecting Jericho will take time off for his next Fozzy tour. I think if I was booking it, I'd probably have him get written off at/after All In and even after the tour, keep him off until after World's End. For his teammates, give them a storyline or two on their own, but still a team.

Then when people have had 4-6 months of a break from Jericho "Our DEAR LEARNING TREE HAS RETURNED!" Then go from there.
