And yeah, I think that's one thing I like with AEW. Since they have less PPVs overall, and not a "BIG FOUR" structure, then they try to keep the fire going most the year while WWE just mails it in from post-mania to MITB

also agree with chris aew presentation just misses so many little things and its frustrating. it doesnt need to be like wwe or as tight either, but sometimes ya i wonder why they shoot things certai nways or worse, why the order of the show or story is the way it is

Like people praise the Bloodline Storyline/Roman's long-title run. I'll say that the early moments of it, and the peaks near big PPVS were great (Especially when Sami was in it for a while) but there was also a lot of dead periods which dragged, even when Roman was around for a PPV title defense.

I didn't notice any this Saturday but when they tape collision sometimes there's obvious continuity errors about whether it's "live" in canon or not lol

I am a notable hater but yes imo that angle jumped the shark even before Cody won. Rock was such a big star no one cared but the story has been nonsense for a minute lol

and jimmy uso for example is in a much crappier position than before, so while Jey came out of it pretty good (but still not a main eventer ) Jimmy is fucking lost

And even if I get that waiting a year for Cody made the moment feel extra gratifying, A: It was not the initial plan because of The Rock, so once they had to pivot, then they lucked into a hot angle with Final Boss Rock and Cody trying to beat them both. and B: The year in between had a story with Jey which was good until Jimmy's swerve at Summerslam, but also could have been told without the title, then from Summerslam to Mania season things were flat.

and I dont think Solo is that great but he has time to improve. im very down on the tongans but I do think itll be cool when the big guy debuts
