Does anybody else get pissed off at how american animation refuses to ever have their characters grow up

I feel like because most of the popular adult animation shows are following the same format. But rarely you'll get one like Bojack that is completely different. The characters in that show aged.

Almost everything that's not live action rarely has characters age properly, games, comics, shows, movie series, etc. Marvel will be using their de aging and AI software to reboot Downey as Iron Man long after he's gone bc live action has finally figured out how to take away that limitation
