fwiw i dont even care about the bret stuff cuz accidents happen and I blame WCW way more for putting a concussed guy out there and also for ul;tra pushing an unsafe dude

WCW definitely takes a good share of the blame for not having better protocols for spotting concussions and also not having a physician check on talents on site but the one thing I will say is I don’t think WCW knew because Jeff Jarrett‘s wife actually called them only a couple of weeks after Bret’s concussion. And they immediately pulled Jeff Jarrett from the road and he only wound missing like two weeks I think which just shows you with Bret had called them immediately as well who knows how much differently it could’ve gone.

It’s crazy though that it shows you the mindset of these wrestlers because Jeff Jarrett knew how bad Bret was suffering from his concussion. He receives a concussion himself on thunder and he was going to work the pay-per-view, but his wife was like no no no I’m calling WCW and letting them know you have a concussion.

I don’t know what TNA’s future holds, but I do think it’s wild that the appearances from TNA and NXT weren’t just like a one off trade off. Seeing someone come out from TNA Cut a promo on NXT and specifically talk about bringing the NXT championship back to TNA on NXT television is just fucking wild.
