That's the thing, people wanna talk about "ratings" from 20 years ago, but they completely forget that outside of WWE, wrestling in 2005 was fucking dead. TNA just barely got TV, ROH wasn't even on TV, and the indies looked like shit.

More people are watching pro wrestling now than they were 20 years ago and that's thanks in large part to the variety.

wrestling in America fucking sucked for a long long time . Wwe was terrible. And if they kill everything they won't have to try anymore again. No one should be happy about this. Aew having to buy roh was not a good thing either
