I mean I think that's cuz WWE painted themselves in a corner by waiting until he's on the clock to turn him but I think most ppl would have been fine if Cena got his last as a face . I think what compounds the issue is face John was kind of mania jobber lately too

I have a whole timeline that works but is a bit rushed to get his babyface 17th title reign before retirement but now everyone wants him to be a heel the whole year (I don't) so it doesn't really jive with the fan base either

and I think whenever it happens, that's when he should win the 17th, show he was wrong for his heel turn in actions not just "I'm sorry" again might be thinking way too hard tho lol

I ask. Which title does Cena win as a Babyface to get to 17? I feel like it should be the WWE not the WHC. And Face/Face Cody/Cena doesn't feel like Cena should win

I don't personally care, in most of my scenarios the WHC seems to work the best but I don't even have an issue with him beating Cody as a face later too, Cody could even lean more into a heel role by not trusting him bc of this current feud
