There is most likely an indie one I didn't see bc I feel like I recall good singles matches booked that I didn't watch but most of my recommendations would be his tag run with Kushida in either NJPW or TNA. Look for some of the title wins or defenses

That was also around when the Sahara fully dried up I think? That was a few thousand years of mass migration it caused that could have caused societal collapses in the places nearby
I definitely prefer the Systems Collapse theory as the most likely cause of the collapse.

It's the most obvious answer, doesn't mean it's true but it's what I think is the best assumption until any other proof comes around

Just massive ecological shift, mass migration, a sudden collapse of the economy, and the Sea Peoples caused all the destruction l

Too much growth in too little time is how I always say it, people call it different stuff though

It's similar to how the biblical flood myth is likely originated in an ancient Mesopotamian flood that devastated the region and had a profound effect on the people

Like you can say societies have a rise and fall arc and that's not wrong but I think that's too cute, you need to explain what causes the fall and 9 times out of 10, it's not enough resources for the expansion youve done everything else is a side effect

A lack of resources is usually the death of any society, either that or infighting... which more often than not is causes by a lack of resources.

The biblical flood certainly happened in some way, I think a good portion of even the old testament is "true" in the sense that's it's based on very real events and just obviously dramatized over the centuries

Yeah and I mentioned the two stories of Moses and Abraham being coopted by their respective tribes which is why both happen in the Bible

The Moses story is interesting bc we have pretty decent historical Egyptian records and it's not really there but I don't think it would actually be anything relevant enough for them to record personally, also what's the incentive too. I think the original lost tribes thing is probably more complicated than the popular story but a good chance it is the basis for what became modern Judaism still

A lot of people don't realize how little we still know of Egyptian history then too, it's a lot of filling in the blanks too

I think the great pyramid we know was built for Khufu primarily bc of graffiti the workers made on the insides that wasn't supposed to be seen lol

For what it's worth I think Samaritanism might be the older between it and Rabbinic Judaism
