Sounds about right. I think way more people buy games and then don't really dive deep into them, than you'd think

on PC for sure. Everyone buys cheap steam sale games and barely touch them.

I do it on xbox as well. see a game I am interested in playing in the future for like 4.99 so i'll pick it up and then never touch it. I have probs 20+ I can download on xbox that I haven't touched. I got RDR2 when it came out and am just now starting to play it.

That's why I miss physical games. I used to have a shelf of games I could actually see and remind me to play them. Now they just get lost in the shuffle.
