The finish is what did it. Perfection. Like 6-7 minutes before it happened I said to myself they have to finish it with a roll up or something like that. The Steamboat/Savage finish and they delivered. Perfect choice for that match between those two.

it was a near perfect match and finish, I loved it too. and you keep the big bomb finishers for a future encounter

tbf, I never expected it to be anything outstanding and it's really hard to have an outstanding Main Event when you already had a card filled with one banger after another.

yeah that's kind of my point too. i did not expect a 5 star afair out of two older guys, the match was fine. but having it main after 3 near perfect bloodfeud matches? yeah that didnt hit right on a ppv that was already 5 and half hours
