Funnily enough Cena is actually what you'd want as the corporate Champion. Punk is the antithesis of it. And Cody is what you would want but he doesn't want it.

The storyline wouldn’t makes sense anyway, because Cena doesn’t need the rock to take him to the next level, but rock and punk have had history going all the way back to rock coming back in 2012 and punk turned heel on him and then he kind of crashed and burned because of the veterans taking his spot so to see punk sell out to the rock now for rock to finally take him to the main event would make perfect narrative sense.
