We lost like $500 a few months ago because someone fell for that scam.

I tell people all the time, if someone calls the phone asking to use prepaid cards, hang up.

The usual scam for us is "I'm [name] from Casey's Help Desk, I'm here to do an update on your card scanner."

Lol the equivalent of the email I got today that we get about once a week saying "the CEO will never text you personally asking for gift cards"

Worst part. I have to tell my leadership to count the register. She then sends me a picture and says it's even so we need to keep the money. I'm like YOU STUPID ASS YOU DIDN'T COUNT THE $530 THAT YOU STILL TOOK FROM HIM. And she's like well it wasn't in the register...

This happened about a week and a half ago but I got the fucking most hilarious call

oh yeah that's the shit we get. We almost got hit but thankfully my cashier and leadership caught it at the last second.

Some dude in the thickest Indian accent you could ever get called my personal phone and was like, "Congratulations, you won da lottery sweepa-stakes."

OH SHIT YOU DIDN'T HEAR MY BEST STORY. A couple saturdays ago I'm swamped at work. See a sketchy dude come in with a bag. I get out from behind my photo register and he walks right up to me, and asks "You wanna buy an Apple Watch?" I was like GET OUT DUDE. LEAVE MY PROPERTY

dumbass came in, found the manager and asked if he wanted to buy an Apple Watch. like how stupid can you be

I was bout to go to bed but instead I need a drink to deal with this stupidity.
