Had a guy in a twitch chat try to flame me over console exclusives

they said Sony purchased FromSoftware(they didn't, but they do own stock in the parent company)

then said if they make souls games console exclusive it will kill their company and they should be like xbox and release their games on PC the same day. I said that's actually why the xbox doesn't sell right now because all their games can be purchased on PC. PS5 is being smart and having year 1 exclusives so if you want the game that bad you gotta own a ps5 to play first.

then he told me PS5 sucks and nobody likes it(it outsells the xbox like 3 to 1)

I think something that could do different is have a PC release for like a base game, but then have one thats a PS5 Exclusive with a lot of extra shit that PC doesn't get until a year later maybe. That way they are still people who will buy a PS5 for the extra shit, but also can make money off the people who want the game but can't afford to get the PS5.

Hogwarts had an exclusive mission for a year on ps5

Batman: Arkham Asylum had exclusive joker challenges on ps3. I think the new remasters have them on all of them but idk i never play those modes.

the soul caliber fighting games had an exclusive character depending on what system you purchased, like i think kratos was on playstation, link was on nintendo.

See, that's the way to go IMO. Like they should have stuff that's exclusive to like the console for the company that makes it, so it's like a different game, maybe even certain DLC and perks or something in some games that the other console and PC don't get til a year later. which also gets more money out of people when that year passes from having to buy the new DLC

I know everyone tells me that xbox already has their new system in the works but I honestly don't think they will have another one.

they are advertising you can play gamepass and cloud games on an amazon firestick. I don't think they care if you buy an xbox at this point.

there were rumors that xbox execs were thinking about letting you download steam on xbox and having your pc games on the console but that gives them like 0 revenue i would think.

It wouldn't be free but you can buy GTA4 on xbox
