There’s no really going backwards. Too much time has passed. The database can’t downgrade.

Yeah I think the best solution is every make the effort to do screenshots, if someone doesn't that you can rationally assume won't become a little bitch about it does post an embed, explain why we'd prefer screenshots and go from there. I'm sure some will still act like you've killed their puppy but that's the human way

I mean like I said, on reddit, in a lot of communities, if you post a twitter url without a screenshot your post gets deleted. mind u they dont have embed like here so its not apples to apples

I find it would be much harder for me to have the self control to not click a link that wasn't embedded compared to an embedded one where hopefully I can get enough context without having to click lol and I know the usual suspects will keep posting links embedded or not without screenshot ring
