It seems to still be highly debated when the first humans made it over to North America, they've pinpointed about a 2K year range. But once they came over they spread fast, like all the way deep into South America so to me that points to an earlier initial migration

Also they definitely hunted horses to extinction in North America before Europeans came over, that's crazy

I think there's still hella stuff to be uncovered in deserts tho. They were a lot more hospitable in early human history before records but most migrated out as the climate changed. I think there's still more organized civilizations older than we've discovered

Like there's evidence of trade between civilizations in Africa that we know next to nothing about like 300k years ago, that's like 250k older than most society type discoveries

they didn't really explain it in the movie but basically the monster was sleeping at the bottom of the ocean for hundreds of years and got woke up by use drilling for oil.

I was about to say, I watched the movie and enjoyed it but had no idea how it related to the subject lol
