Yeah this was the first thanksgiving we've had without both my dad's parents, personally it was okay for me, I'm pretty happy with our current extended family situation but it was kinda hard on my dad

My grandpa died a few years ago and my grandma wasn't really the same since but she passed a few months ago

It's not easy. I got home from my Moms service at like 7PM and I was just done. emotionally spent. But seeing everyone that showed up really helped.
