I think that's kind of my point of being agnostic tho, there's no "choice" and if you're choosing them you're admitting it's fiction. You should want to continually try and find the truth of what may or may not exist

I think that was always the intention, it's why they mirror irl religions a tad more. I just can't remember if maybe there were some actually events that showed they might not be fake at any point
