and like I said, QT Marshall is the head trainer for one of them. There's no way that is not a conflict of interest. really weird. I don't like WWE having their hands on training impressionable indie stars to mold to their way of doing things personally. I fully can appreciate it's a positive for WWE but I think it will be more homogenization and everyone further looking all the same and talking the same.

But I think it's more a recruiting pipeline for indie wrestlers instead of just the athletes which they already have than pushing their style bc I doubt they'll really be able to that much, but the places they picked so far are places that already teach it anyway too

Or more I doubt they'll care to push the trainers to really change much, and maybe that's why they picked the ones they did anyway bc they don't want to care they just want the work done for them

it will also probably lead to those schools spending more attention on the people that wwe is interested in, which will possibly be a negative to every other student paying money who they may not have interest in

I would want them to have their small set of schools, any sort of rapid expansion would worry me about more

yeah but there's quite a lot of schools out there so as long as the WWE prep academies are presented as such I think it can be okay still. Again without rapid expansion of this program

Someone said NXT TV was like grad school of a university so now I can't help but see all their developmental as them mimicking actual school systems

I can say for the Booker school, it's probably one of the best in Texas so that's a little eh but also in fairness Dustin Rhodes is opening his own here too in a few months and it isn't part of this (yet lol)
