I mean that was the issue for decades. Yukes openly admitted to basically just using the SmackDown 1 code for the WWE games ten years after it was outdated and overly bloated.

It's particularly why the later WWE games pre-2k making their own engine was horribly glitchy.

ya once u scratch the surface I think it was apparent that studio had big issues. Nostalgia def blinded aew n tk. They got taken for a ride imo
