If you think she doesn't get a good chunk of money from any HP related merchandise and that any kind of displaying and broadening her franchise will in turn further her legacy, then I dunno what to tell you...

Also it's an empty argument that you'd "punish the devs" by not buying the game or displaying it on a platform. They made it, they got their main paychecks for it. And if they choose to continue to work for the company because of DLCs or other future content, then they made that choice.
