I remember buying Hitman II, checking the box several times to make sure my PC would run it, asking the salesman about it etc. Went home, installed it, everything went well... but the game would not launch

but generally speaking ya, if ur game isnt running on pc u either messed up some settings or your hardware is defective. the latter being no different than on console which also can be defective. lets not forget red ring of death

I get the appeal of PC but I have always been happy with my consoles since I got an N64

either way, the days of games not launching at all on pc and other issues I would say are pretty far apart and rare these days. same on console its rare to have major bungles like that. plus the vast majority of pc games are optimized in a way that the shittiest pc and the greatest pc have options to run it. look at fortnite for example.

Thankfully I not really had to many problems. I think only one game wouldn’t play for me, and I can’t remember what one it was lmao. I think it was XDefiant. But it’s probably because I need to change some settings.

Only drawback I've ever had was the PS5 Controllers getting the joystick drifr

and with exclusives getting more and more rare there just doesnt seem to be a point. id get a ps5 for the controller and a few games but to me its not worth the price tag of a mid range GPU that crushes its performance

like id legit only get a ps5 for FF7 and thats still coming to PC probably by xmas or early next year so il just be patient. theres like a million games i can download while waiting
