good lord dude lol we get it u like wwe. It's ok for other ppl to not enjoy the music without bringing up aew . Just saying
dude I never said I liked them. I said they're no better or worse than anyone else, and they're overworked. I didn't even bring up AEW, someone else did and siad AEWs music was better and it was 1 guy.

I stand by what I said, I think Rukus' music is generally better and he's all alone. That doesn't mean you can't like some of the songs def rebel do

They're not as good as CFO$ or Jim Johnston, that's all. And Johnston did some pretty generic shit during the attitude era too, but he was definitely more hit than miss
this is all true. Although I think CFO$ were overrated their highs were massively higher than Def Rebels

that's fine, I honestly never notice the AEW music except for the licensed stuff and Max Caster rapping to the ring.

CFO managed to make a few songs that were recognizable without having to quote the wrestler's name or catchphrase in the intro. def rebel do that a lot which is one of the reasons why they became a meme and people mocked them

They all do. How long is the average wrestling entrance? Probably a minute tops. Anything after that you don't notice. Hell the greatest entrance music in professional wrestling history, which reached the top 5 on the UK charts is only like 70 seconds long.

I don't even love Rukus' songs most of the time and I collect def rebel's songs off iTunes lol. They're just criticized more often than him, is all
I think it's mostly because (outside Mercedes mone which got a lot of hate) his worse songs are "just OK, or just "meh"" - where as imo the issue w def rebel is their songs are often indistinguishable. Also another issue is rebel remakes songs that ppl already liked w a worse version

I agree completely. (Time to be an old man now) But I also see that as more of an issue with the music industry as a whole. This new computer shit is all identical sounding to me

Someone said they couldn't recognize who was coming out during the rumble without looking at the tron because the music was not memorable

And that's why Rukus' approach to composing is interesting, he mentioned this in an interview and he really knew the steps a theme song should have, like a recognizable sound, a short instrumental period during which the wrestler walks out, then a pause so that they do their trademark pose or gesture, then an uplifting music to accompany them on the ramp etc.
